Summer is here, and with it comes all kinds of opportunities for fun, connection, and community! At Evergreen, we’ve got a full lineup of simple ways to stay connected this summer, and you can find all the details on this page. Take a look, mark your calendar, and jump in wherever it fits!

Friday Night Fires are a favourite way to connect at Evergreen throughout the summer. These informal gatherings offer a chance to slow down, share conversation, and enjoy time together around the fire. Bring a lawn chair, blanket, and any snacks or drinks you’d like to enjoy.

Stop by the Sikkemas’ place on Tuesday afternoons for a ride on the zipline, a dip in the pool, and a chance to connect!

Enjoy an outdoor movie night with your family!

Pop into Oakland and play at the park behind the Columbus house. Come with a snack to share. We'll enjoy being outside and there will be some additional activities (bubbles/ crafts/ books) to enjoy. Washroom facilities can be used at the Columbus home. (If washrooms are needed, please be aware we have a dog.)

You can park at the Columbus' and walk over or park in the parking lot at the park itself. The park is on King St. behind the gas station.

Ladies Only Sip and Dip and Aquafit.

Casual poolside gathering for ladies of all ages. You bring the sip and Jan will provide the dip and maybe some aquafit! Drop in on Tuesday’s for the next 5 weeks, 1-4 pm.

This summer, we’re inviting you to join us as we slow down and notice the goodness of God all around us. Through three simple daily practices: a midday pause, Scripture meditation, and an end-of-day reflection, we’re learning to pay attention to God’s presence in the ordinary moments of life.
