North of 55 is a welcoming space to build friendships, grow in faith, and enjoy meaningful community. Each month brings something new—sometimes a shared meal, a fun outing, or a guest speaker offering encouragement and insight. Event details and times will be shared as they become available. The North of 55 group has been invited to enjoy an afternoon at Sawaya Gardens.
Meet at 1 p.m. to enjoy lunch together, and then Mel Sawaya will share a bit of his story and the history of the gardens. Bring your questions, as Mel is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to gardening. He’s been in the business for over 30 years and is a renowned consultant and founder of Canada’s #1 horticultural research centre.
