Lead a Short-Term Life Group

What is a Short-Term Life Group?

Short-Term Life Groups meet for a set time to focus on a specific topic, usually running 4–8 weeks. Groups may explore a video series, work through a book study, or practice a spiritual rhythm together. Not only are Short-Term Life Groups a great way to focus in and grow in a specific area, they also create space for people to to build community and connect with new people in our church family.

New This Year: Small Group in a Box

This year we’re excited to introduce Small Group in a Box - a resource for short-term life group leaders. Leaders can choose from two study options and will receive a step-by-step guide for each gathering, along with question cards that help share leadership among participants and make conversations flow naturally.

For the fall season, the Small Group in a Box studies available will be based on the following RightNow Media video series:

  • Love in Chaos by Bob Goff
  • The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry by John Mark Comer

Note:

All teaching and resources used at Evergreen Heights need to align with our beliefs, as are outlined in the Mennonite Brethren Confession of Faith. If you are unsure about any aspect of the materials that you are planning to use, please contact Tamille for support in working through this.
