Plan to Protect
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for everyone at Evergreen, all of our volunteers are required to complete the Plan to Protect screening process. Plan to Protect is a program that includes screening, training, policies, and procedures designed to prevent abuse and ensure the protection of children, teens, and vulnerable adults.
Completing Plan to Protect requires the following:
- Completing an Application Form
- Ministry Interview with Plan to Protect Director and Director of Ministry
- Reference Checks
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
- Plan to Protect Training - currently being offered in video format
- Annual Plan to Protect Refresher Training
Those who had Plan to Protect in place prior to ministries being paused due to COVID-19 will not need to complete the application form again.
You will need to complete the following:
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
- Plan to Protect Training (either in-person or online)
If you are interested in beginning this process or if you need to update your paperwork, please submit the form below.
