What is a Life Group?
Long-Term Life Groups meet in people's homes or in the community on an ongoing basis to connect, support one another, laugh together, and grow together as followers of Jesus. Some groups meet weekly, others meet monthly, and some meet on a more sporadic basis. The format followed by each Life Group looks a bit different, but all Life Groups provide space to talk, pray, and grow in faith.
What is a Life Group Leader?
Life Group Leaders are people who are following Jesus, and want to lead a group in connecting with one another, having great conversations about life and faith, and growing as disciples.
Life groups Leaders play a key role in cultivating Christ-centred relationships with our church community. If you are thinking of being a Life Group Leader, but feel you may need some help along the way, don't worry! Our Leadership Team is available to respond to any questions you may have and provide you with any resources you need to lead your group.
Note:
All teaching and resources used at Evergreen Heights need to align with our beliefs, as are outlined in the Mennonite Brethren Confession of Faith. If you are unsure about any aspect of the materials that you are planning to use, please contact Tamille for support in working through this.
