At Evergreen, we believe that prayer is central to who we are and how we are called to live out our faith.

Prayer changes things. It changes our hearts. It changes our circumstances. It changes the world.

When we pray, we make space in our lives to connect with God - the Almighty, the Creator and Sustainer of all things, and our perfect and loving Father. And it is within the context of that relationship that we discover our true identity, our purpose, and our calling as the Church as we seek to represent the Kingdom of God in our world. It is within the context of that relationship that the Spirit empowers us to live on mission - to represent God's light and love in our world.

Prayer is essential for us as followers of Christ. God is our strength, our comforter, and our provider. Prayer is an opportunity to come before him with our needs and grow in our love and trust for Him as we centre ourselves in His presence.

As we move towards the AGM we want to set aside 24 hours to pray as a church family. To pray for our world, our country, our province, our county, and for our church - for unity and for clarity in vision as we seek God’s direction in our decision-making.

Choose one hour from the schedule below that you will commit to praying for the duration of. More than one person can sign up for an hour but we want to have each hour filled for the full 24 hours.
