At Evergreen Heights Child Care Centre, we believe every child is a gift from God and deserves to be nurtured with care and love. Serving in the daycare is a meaningful way to bless families and show the love of Jesus while creating a caring, encouraging space where little ones can flourish.
CLASSROOM VOLUNTEER
- Spend time playing with children and helping with activities in one of our classrooms once a week (Infant, Toddler, Preschool, or Kinder Sprouts) between 9–11 AM. You’re welcome to stay for the full two hours or just an hour—whatever works best with your schedule.
AFTER SCHOOL SUPPORT
- Spend time with our after-school group from 3:30–5:00 PM, Play games, join children for their snack time, and offer support as needed. You are welcome to help once a week, once a month, or as often as works with your schedule!
P.A. DAY/MARCH BREAK SUPPORT
- Come help out with one or more of our school-aged camps (Oct. 7, Dec. 22–24, Jan. 2 & 19, Mar. 16–20, Apr. 17, June 5). Play games, join children for their lunch time, and offer support as needed. Our greatest need is for extra hands between 11 AM and 2 PM, but any time is a welcome blessing!
GUEST PRESENTER
- Do you have a special talent or exciting career? We’d love to schedule a time for you to share it with the kids—it’s a fun way to inspire them and give them a glimpse of new possibilities!
COFFEE & MUFFIN MORNINGS
- Bring muffins and make coffee for our daycare families on October 30, November 21, or December 10 between 7:30–9:30 AM. Come to one or all three! It’s a simple way to bless parents as they start their day.
