Connecting Points ministries help people experience welcome and belonging at Evergreen. Those who serve in this area extend hospitality to both guests and long-time attenders, guide people toward next steps, and create opportunities for everyone to engage in the life of the church.
GREETERS/HALL MONITORS
- Greet people with a smile as they arrive at Evergreen Sunday mornings.
- Confirm classroom attendance and ensure classrooms have the support needed.
- Run children to the washroom, get parents when needed from sanctuary.
- Assist with directing parents to correct rooms at dismissal and pick-up.
- Right now, those who serve in this ministry area help as both greeters and hall monitors. In the future, we hope to split these into separate roles. If you’d love to greet but aren’t able to serve as a hall monitor, let us know and we will keep you in mind as we plan!
INFO HUB
- Those who serve at the Info Hub offer a warm welcome and help people take their next steps at Evergreen. They greet and guide attenders, share information, keep resources organized, and pass along follow-up needs, all while extending hospitality so everyone feels seen, valued, and connected.
USHERS (New Team Developing)
- The Usher Team is being developed to help create a warm and supportive environment during services. Those who serve will greet attendees, assist with seating and accessibility, and monitor entrances and aisles to help provide a safe, distraction-free worship experience.
